EcoShield® VPCI 144 are high-quality, recyclable, and replicable VCI paper rolls. This construction utilizes an advanced water-based barrier coating that is highly resistant to common contaminants such as oil and grease. The raw material used in this VCI paper contains 69% USDA-certified biobased content. This product is also recognized by federal purchasing initiatives under the USDA Bio Preferred program. Traditionally, polyethylene and wax coatings were used to create old wax VCI paper products. In particular, these coatings were applied to porous paper to seal the moisture vapor barrier resulting from this approach. However, when coated in this manner, the product becomes hazardous to the environment and cannot be recycled through normal recycling channels.
