A roof fan can be the same name referring to two different types of fans. On the one hand, it is the classic fan that is mounted indoors in homes and spins around to create an air flow in a room (these are also called HVLS fans (High-Volume Low-Speed)). And partly it is the type of fans that we work with – i.e. fans that are mounted outdoors on roofs belonging to e.g. apartment buildings, schools or industrial premises. A roof fan is a fan that is part of the ventilation system and has the task of extracting hot air, moisture and pollution from the indoor space and blowing them outside.
