Bond HG is a reactive type multifunctional, flexibilising and waterproofing compound, for preparing adhesive grout, waterproofing coatings, and to improve mortar, plaster, grout and concrete adhesion, adherence, deformability, waterproofness and performance. Bond HG is a multipurpose, multifunctional, reactive product; its addition to plaster, mortars and conglomerates in general, both based on cement and bonded with lime, provides a complex and efficient physical/chemical action. The polymers and the reactive fillers increase stickiness, adhesion, watertightness, and deformation capacity, and reduce the alkali content of free products from the reaction of cement hydration for an amount of about 1000 mg per kg of Bond HG introduced into the mixture. The superpozzolanic reactivity, activated by the distinctive features of the filler, causes significant increases in chemical resistance, weatherability, stability and overall durability. The high pozzolanic reactivity (metakaolin) Bond HG fillers react with the free lime [Ca(OH) ₂] produced by the hydration reaction of portland cement. The free lime is thus converted into more stable calcium aluminates and calcium silicate. The hydro-expansive cap of Corkseal is intended to guarantee the hermetic sealing of the inside of the tubular spacer. It is fitted into the hole produced by the tubular spacer, by simple striking. Corkseal caps are available in different diameter sizes: Corkseal T21 = 21 mm; Corkseal T24 = 24 mm; Corkseal T26 = 26 mm; Corkseal T32 = 32 mm; Corkseal T34 = 34 mm. Unlike treatments based on wax or synthetic oils, Curing Aid is not a hydro-oleo repellent substance. Curing Aid bases its working principle on the cross-linking of a copolymer particularly similar to the constituents of cement-based mixes. The copolymer inhibits the evaporation of water and is chemically fixed with the support. Curing Aid, thanks to this polymerization process, is not a potentially detaching substance with respect to subsequent coating treatments, unlike the common anti-evaporating agents present on the market that base their effectiveness on active hydro-oil repellent substances. Aid for curing and curing measures in concrete conglomerates: industrial concrete floors, foundation slabs, massive jets, betons, thixotropic and castable structural mortars, fiber-reinforced micro-coals etc. Curing Aid must be applied to the surfaces of fresh mix, preferably by spraying, using low pressure sprayers. The tank of component B (8 kg) contains slightly more compared to the quantity necessary for mixing the bag (24 kg), allowing the installer, before laying the product, to withdraw from the tank up to 1 lt of the special resin of component B, dilute with 1 lt of water and use this aqueous emulsion to prime the application support (see also the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION section). In case of exceptionally arid climate, it is possible to make moderate consistency corrections, where necessary, adding water up to a maximum of 8%. When waterproofing terraces and balconies, two coats, each about 1.5 mm thick (2.2 kg/m² per coat), of Osmocem Flex should be applied, each coat should be applied when the previous one looks stable (at least 4 hours later at 20°C). It is recommended to interpose the fibreglass alkaline-resistant mesh Armaglass 160 in the thickness of Osmocem Flex, between the first and second coat. The self-adhesive butyl band Proband should also be placed between the floor screeds and the elevation walls. Finally, it is advisable to place the special elastic band Elastotex 120 or Elastotex 120 Cloth, at any expansion joints, securing it with the same Osmocem Flex.
