With the aim of repurposing the Briccola wood from Venice, Icons Furniture contacted HENRY & CO. to challenge them to design iconic and timeless furniture pieces. HENRY & CO. then presented three different concepts. The famous mathematical law theorized by Fibonacci (from which the name derives) is the source of inspiration for this bookshelf designed for Icons Furniture. By observing the arrangement of the vertical and horizontal shelves, one can find the renowned mathematical ratio summarized by Fibonacci. The materials used include painted iron for the structure and Briccola wood from Venice for the shelves.
