It comes pre grooved (rebated) on the rear so that it will sit on top of 6mm, 9mm or 12mm MDF Wall panelling kits and low cost, DIY wall panelling packs. If you are looking for a Tongue and Groove MDF wall panelling dado rail then please select 6mm or 9mm. For Bead and Butt MDF panels, please select the 9mm version. The Dado Rail is an exact reproduction moulding made to match one that was used in a Victorian house in Northamptonshire and is supplied in Moisture resistant MDF. If you are planning on using an MDF for outdoor use it absolutely has to be MEDITE Tricoya Extreme MDF. MEDITE Tricoya MDF is guaranteed for above ground use for 50 years and below ground use for 25 years. In addition, and conveniently, Tricoya panels share the same machining, cutting and painting characteristics as regular MDF. Its unique qualities make it ideal for outdoor DIY projects such as children’s wooden playhouses, bespoke fence panels, wooden planters and other projects in and around the garden. Once cut to size, Tricoya sheets can easily be fixed together using waterproof, outdoor grade, wood adhesive and corrosion resistant screws.
