The 6, 8 and 10fold Befort magnifiers have been THE magnifiers for precise reading for 30 years. All measuring magnifiers have metal engraved scales. The measuring plates are manufactured and surfacetreated individually using a special process. This timeconsuming precise manufacturing guarantees parallaxfree reading when the magnifier is directly positioned on the object to be measured.

Wir haben eine gut ausgestattete Werkstatt und das Wissen, um die meisten Reparaturen selbst durchzuführen! Wertvolle Ersatzteile wie Drehmomentaufnehmer (transducer), Platinen, Motoren, Bäder und Peltiers werden von uns repariert. Mechanische Teile werden von unserem Partnerunternehmen produziert. Dieses Unternehmen arbeitet hochpräzise und stellt auch Teile für die Luftfahrtindustrie her. Alle reparierten Teile werden in unserem Labor genau geprüft, bevor diese an den Kunden zurück verschickt werden.

Zur Überprüfung der Einhaltung von Toleranzen bei Präzisionsteilen messen wir begleitend und/oder abschließend zur Fertigung auf unserer 3D-Messmaschine mit hochauflösendem Tastkopf. Auf Wunsch liefern wir Ihre Bestellung mit Prüfprotokoll, bieten Ihnen aber auch reines Lohnmessen zur Sicherstellung Ihrer Qualität an.

Unsere Werkskalibrierungen werden mit rückführbaren Normalen und vorhandenen Normen für Kalibrierlabore unter Laborbedingungen durchgeführt.

Hochtemperaturisolierung für Anlagenteile, Turbinen und Sonderlösungen mit schwierigen Formgebungen. Wir liefern und montieren Dämmkissen und Matratzenisolierungen. Besonders vorteilhaft ist die leichte De- und Remontage der Isoliermatratzen.

The Befort measuring magnifier design provides for a parallaxfree reading. Measuring magnifiers are available with 6, 8 and 10fold magnification. Measuring plates are exchangeable.

Our measuring microscopes accommodate highquality optics in a robust lightmetal body. They are universally applicable, e.g. for testing hardness, evaluating Brinell and Vickers hardness, in graphics or for noncontact measurement of small parts and small distances. Our 20x/7 mm, 30x/5 mm, 40x/4 mm, 60x/2 mm and 100x/1 mm measuring microscopes feature batteryoperated LED illumination as standard.

Metallic thinfilm systems are vaporized onto substrates to attain specific reflection and transmission values. Depending on the type of metal and the thickness of the layer, metallic splitter coatings are able to separate customerspecific wavelength areas.

The deflection and separation of light beams in different intensities, directions or wavelength ranges can also be controlled by thinfilm vaporization. Either a metallic or a dielectric coating is chosen, depending on requirements and application. The abovementioned advantages of dielectric reflection coatings play a decisive role here, too.

Befort develops and manufactures laser optics for a wide range of applications since more than 20 years. Our product range comprises objectives with focal lengths from 5 60 mm. Our objectives are all coated with a reflectionreducing coating and are computed and optimized for the intended application. Of course, we also design and compute customized objectives and systems to meet your special requirements.

Achromatic systems consist of two single lenses of different refraction that are cemented together. This avoids the inherent achromatic aberrations of single lenses that lead to blurred or distorted images. We produce these highquality optics with diameters of 10 50 mm and focal lengths of 20 250 mm. We supply black anodized aluminium mounts with all achromatic systems on request.

Befort VIS objectives are colorcorrected for VIS use and are routinely equipped with VISAR coating. The UV objectives are made of quartz glass or CaFl2 and optimized for λ = 185 nm

At Befort, spherical precision optics pass through the hands of qualified specialists. They work with a sure instinct and stateoftheart technology. The machine processing of each surface is done on CNC grinding and polishing machines. We produce spherical precision lenses from optical glass, quartz glass and radiationresistant materials with diameters from 3 mm to 130 mm and a curvature radius from 1.18 mm to plane. We make individual lens elements, achromatic systems, concave mirrors, cylinder lenses and other precisely fitting glass geometries to suit your specific application.

Compared with conventional metallic reflection coatings, the advantages of dielectric reflection coatings are their climate resistance, mechanical stability and high reflection combined with relatively low absorption. These properties are crucially important for many optical applications involving extreme thermal and mechanical stress.

Finest quality surface polishing is vital in plane optic production. At Befort, this has top priority from production all the way to final inspection. Thanks to sophisticated CNC technology, we are able to produce single planeoptic components as well as multifunctional systems. We process optical glass, filter glass, quartz glass and float glass up to a size of 600 mm diameter. We make filters, groundglass screens, plane mirrors, windows with a plane parallel surface contour and realize customized solutions for specific applications. In our test laboratory we measure machined surfaces with an interferometer to be able to guarantee top optical quality! No lens element leaves our factory before it meets the exact specifications and requirements of the customer

Befort orthoscopic oculars create a fast, low distortion image and may optionally be equipped with various eyepieces (line or crosshair graticules, scales or circles).

Metallic reflection coatings enhance reflection and are used in many optical instruments for light deflection. We coat glass, metal and plastic. The choice of coating material depends on the reflection requirements in the defined wavelength range. We use aluminium, gold, silver and chromenickel, either with or without protection coating for the VIS, UV and IR ranges.

The liquid lens objective is an Smount objective with internal focusing on the basis of a liquid lens. The working distance can be electronically set by applying voltage. This procedure makes mechanical components completely obsolete. The objective’s design is compact and robust.
