OFSTED Paediatric First Aid An OFSTED approved course helping you to gain the knowledge and skills to effectively respond to paediatric emergencies! National Wellbeing's QA Level 3 Paediatric First Aid (RQF) covers assessing emergencies, managing unresponsive infants and children, performing CPR, handling choking incidents, identifying meningitis symptoms, responding to head and spinal injuries, dealing with anaphylaxis, supporting asthmatic children and much more. Paediatric First Aid Training for Early Years Providers This course can be completed by an instructor visiting your setting for two days. Alternatively, completion can be six hours of easy-to-use online learning at your own pace and one day in person. All online training must be complete prior to the practical day of the course. The government’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requires all providers in England to have at least one staff member with a current and full paediatric first aid certificate on the premises whenever children are present.
