Der korrekte Bromwert wird durch Einstellung des Durchflusses durch den Brominator geregelt und sollte mit einem Bromprüfer gemessen werden. Richtwerte zur Erzielung einer guten Wasserqualität: pH-Wert 7,0 - 7,6 und Bromwert 3 - 5 mg/l.
