Ces petits insectes dont la taille ne dépasse pas les 4 mm se reproduisent assez rapidement dans les endroits humides comme les lits. Certaines solutions sont très efficaces pour les éradiquer, d’autres n’ont aucun effet. Les punaises de lit (Cimex Lectularius) sont des parasites qui se nourrissent de notre sang. Elles sont de couleur brune qui varie au rouge lorsqu’elles sont gorgées de sang Les punaises de lit se faufilent un peu partout et se reproduisent très rapidement lorsque les conditions sont favorables (obscurité, chaleur et humidité). Les piqures de ces nuisibles sont indolores mais laissent des traces et entrainent des démangeaisons. La présence des punaises de lit entraine également la perturbation du sommeil, l’anxiété et peut même mener à de graves cas de dépression.
