...Hot stamping relief embossing is used to enhance a surface with high quality. A thin plastic foil is applied to the substrate in a targeted manner using pressure and heat. The material to be embossed is simultaneously embossed with the foil and plastically deformed. This creates a tactile effect. In this process, as with blind embossing, a die and a counter-die are required; however, an original counter-die is needed for production.
