"Origin
Kale is a leafy crop that can be grown on all soil types and is a typical winter vegetable.
Kale is a descendant of wild cabbage. It originated in Asia Minor and was brought to Europe by nomads around 600 BC. As early as 1661, kale can be found as a dish in Dutch cookbooks.
Processing into powder
Fresh kale is dried and then ground into kale. In this process, the nutrients remain completely intact.
Nutritional values and uses
Kale contains fiber and sulfur that aid digestion, antioxidants and omega-3 fats. It is also rich in iron, calcium, many vitamins A, K and C. There is 100 milligrams of vitamin C in 100 grams of kale.
Kale can therefore rightly be called a superfood.
This powder can be used to make a vegetable smoothie. It can also be added to juices and used in soups, sauces, curries, vegetable dishes, salads and, of course, mashed potatoes! Mix it into endive stew or give your kale stew an extra boost."
